Description

The Raymarine SeaTalk 1 to SeaTalk NG Converter bridges the legacy 3-wire SeaTalk 1 bus to a modern SeaTalk NG backbone, letting older SeaTalk 1 instruments, autopilots, GPS receivers and accessories communicate on a SeaTalk NG (NMEA 2000) network.

This is the converter only, with no cables supplied. It suits installations where the SeaTalk NG backbone, spur and power cabling is already in place, or where you wish to specify the cable lengths yourself. Where a complete solution is needed, the E22158 adaptor kit includes the same converter together with cables, terminators and blanking plugs.

Each converter allows connection of one SeaTalk 1 device and up to two SeaTalk NG devices. It is rated IPx6 and operates from 9 to 16 V DC.
