Description
The Victron MIDI fuse is a compact bolt-down fuse designed to protect mid-range DC circuits, sitting between small blade fuses and the larger high-current MEGA fuse. It is commonly used on the DC feeds of 48V products, battery banks and distribution busbars where a neat, secure, mid-current fuse is needed.
This 80A version is rated for systems up to 58 volts, so it suits 12V, 24V and 48V installations. Its slow-blow characteristic tolerates normal inrush currents while protecting cabling and equipment against short circuits and sustained overloads. It mounts using M5 studs for a secure, low-resistance connection and fits neatly into the tight, high-vibration spaces found on boats and in vehicles.
