Description
The CZone N2K Network Bridge Interface lets a single NMEA 2000 network grow beyond its normal device limit and isolates sections of the network to reduce standby current draw. It bridges between two CAN networks, for example linking a CZone digital switching system to a Simrad SimNet backbone, keeping the two segments electrically separate while data passes between them.
By fitting a bridge, an installation can expand well past the standard 50-node limit of a single NMEA 2000 network, making it a key building block for larger digital-switching and instrument installations. The module is supplied with the tee connectors and terminators needed to drop it into the network.
