Description
The 12 kW X-band SRT LAN pedestal is a solid-state-ready transceiver pedestal for the Simrad R5000 commercial radar platform, configured for High-Speed Craft (HSC) installations. Mounted up-mast, it houses the transceiver and antenna drive and connects to the R5000 processor over a LAN (Ethernet) link, forming the sensing head of a type-approved commercial radar system.
As part of the modular R5000 range, the pedestal is specified within a full radar build to meet the requirements of HSC-class vessels. It is a professional installation component fitted by qualified marine electronics engineers.
