Description
This S-Band pedestal is the up-mast turning gear and antenna support for a Simrad down-mast S-Band commercial radar, configured for a 12-foot antenna and a 30kW down-mast core unit. It carries and rotates the antenna aloft while the transceiver core is mounted below deck. It is a system component for down-mast S-Band radar installations and is matched to the 12ft, 30kW configuration.
