Description
The Victron Energy AGM Super Cycle is a 12V 230Ah valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery designed for cyclic use. Improved positive-plate paste and electrolyte additives make the cells far more tolerant of deep discharge, so the battery withstands repeated heavy cycling that would quickly damage a conventional AGM.
Victron recommends the Super Cycle range where an occasional discharge to 100% depth of discharge, or frequent discharge to 60-80% DoD, is expected. As the largest model in the range, this 230Ah battery offers a 700A cold-cranking rating and a 400 minute reserve capacity, making it well suited to large house banks and high-demand service installations.
As a sealed, maintenance-free AGM, it can be mounted in most orientations and needs no topping up, making it a dependable house bank for marine and leisure installations.
