Description
The IRIS-EX106 is a high-definition, explosion-proof PTZ camera built for the most hazardous marine and industrial environments, including engine-room and deck monitoring, chemical and petroleum facilities, oil depots, drilling platforms and other offshore vessels. The body is machined from marine-grade 316L stainless steel, making it both extremely rugged and corrosion proof, and matching explosion-proof junction boxes and cable hoses are available for complete protection.
It is certified for use in flammable and explosive atmospheres, carrying an ExdIICT6Gb / ExtDA21 marking that covers IIA, IIB and IIC flammable gas groups across temperature classes T1 to T6, plus Zones 20, 21 and 22 for combustible dust. A built-in LED illuminator provides visibility to around 40m in darkness.
This EX106 model is the analogue version, outputting composite (CVBS PAL/NTSC), HD-TVI, HD-CVI and AHD video with a 12x optical zoom, and is controlled over a two-wire RS485 serial connection. It runs on 12VDC and supports multiple compression rates, bitrates and streaming protocols.
