Description
The Garmin 2.1 Litre High-Performance Autopilot Pump Kit is the hydraulic drive for larger boats running a Garmin GHP or Reactor autopilot on hydraulic steering. With greater displacement than the 1.2 L and 2.0 L pumps, it delivers the flow needed to move bigger steering cylinders while responding to commands from the autopilot ECU.
The pump uses SAE #6 cylinder ports and SAE #4 helm ports, and must be plumbed with hydraulic hose and fittings rated to at least 1000 lbf/in2. As with all Garmin autopilot pumps, it should be mounted within 0.5 m of the ECU, either horizontally or vertically with the connectors facing up, because the pump-to-ECU cables cannot be extended.
