Garmin Airmar P79 NMEA0183 In Hull Mount Depth Smart Sensor

This plastic in-hull transducer with an adjustable deadrise angle makes installation easy. The NMEA0183 100 W transducer has a depth of 500 ft; an operating frequency of 235 kHz; a beamwidth of 6 degrees; and a 0 to 22 degree deadrise. Transducer kit comes with installation instructions. Follow the instructions carefully to avoid damaging your boat. This Transducer is not recommended for cored hulls, only single skin fibreglass maximum 8mm (5/8) thick. If there are any imperfections in the layup of the fibreglass this can seriously affect the performance. It is always recommended to use a through hull transducer where possible.
