Description
The Garmin GT41-THP is a matched port-and-starboard pair of 12-pin thru-hull transducers combining traditional 50/200 kHz sonar with Garmin ClearVu and SideVu CHIRP scanning sonar (260 and 455 kHz). With 600 W traditional power and 500 W per scanning element (1,500 W total), the pair gives strong traditional returns to 1,500 ft, ClearVu detail to 1,000 ft and wide SideVu coverage to 750 ft. Splitting SideVu across two hull-mounted transducers keeps clear side coverage on hulls of up to 25 degrees deadrise. Two fairing blocks, isolation plates and bushings are included, with at least one anti-rotation bolt required per transducer, and a built-in fast-response water temperature sensor. The two transducers join via the included Y-cable to a Garmin sonar black box (GCV 10) and compatible 12-pin chartplotters.

Why is the GT41-THP supplied as a pair?
Splitting SideVu across two hull-mounted transducers, one angled to each side, lets the GT41-THP keep clear side coverage on hulls of up to 25 degrees deadrise where a single transducer would struggle. The two transducers join to a sonar black box via the included Y-cable.
