Description
The Garmin gWind Wireless Wind Pack is a complete wireless wind solution for sailors. At the masthead, the gWind Wireless transducer measures wind speed and angle and transmits the data by dedicated radio signal, so there is no wiring to run through the mast. A WSI connection box receives those signals, and the included GND 10 black box bridge shares the wind data with compatible Garmin chartplotters across a NMEA 2000 network. The transducer measures wind from 0.9 to 90 knots and is rated to IPX6 for protection against heavy seas. Together the three components give you a clean, cable-free way to add accurate wind information to a Garmin system.
