Description
The Victron Lithium SuperPack NG 12.8V 100Ah is the next-generation SuperPack, a LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) battery that keeps the integrated BMS, monitor, and on/off switch of the range while adding Bluetooth, self-heating, and a much higher current rating. It is a drop-in replacement for a lead-acid leisure battery and is dimensionally compatible with BCI Group 49.
Bluetooth Smart allows wireless configuration, monitoring, and firmware updates through the VictronConnect app, with Instant Readout showing state of charge, temperature, warnings, and alarms without connecting. An integrated self-heating function keeps the cells above the safe charging temperature in cold conditions: below 0°C charging is suspended while the heater warms the cells, then resumes automatically. The pack supports 200 A continuous discharge, well beyond the standard SuperPack range, and adds an External Feedback Signal output for redundant system protection or to trigger a charger.
Round-trip efficiency is around 93 per cent, and cycle life reaches 2500 cycles at 80 per cent depth of discharge, 3000 at 70 per cent, and 5000 at 50 per cent. Batteries can be paralleled without limit, though total system current should not exceed what a single battery can safely interrupt; series connection is not permitted. The pack is rated IP65.
