Description

The Mastervolt AC Master 24/1000 is an affordable pure sine wave inverter that converts 24 V battery power into reliable 230 V grid-quality electricity. Designed for recreational and semi-professional use, it is easy to install and delivers its full rated output even under demanding conditions, providing essential home comforts wherever mains power is unavailable.

Pure sine wave technology ensures excellent power quality so sensitive equipment works correctly, while high-frequency switching eliminates the humming and buzzing common to cheaper inverters. With a high 94 per cent efficiency and an automatic power saving system, it makes the most of your batteries, and a temperature and load controlled fan keeps it quiet at low power. The rugged, compact and lightweight casing saves valuable installation time.

This UK socket version is fitted with a UK 3-pin output for direct plug-in connection. An optional AC Master Remote Control allows the inverter and all connected equipment to be switched off instantly, and the unit is MasterBus compatible using a MasterBus AC Master Interface.

What output and socket does the AC Master 24/1000 (UK) provide?
It delivers a selectable 200/220/230/240 V output at 50/60 Hz through a UK 3-pin plug socket, with 1000 W of continuous power and short peaks up to 2000 W for three seconds.
What battery does it need?
The inverter runs from a 24 V battery bank with a recommended capacity of at least 65 Ah. Mastervolt specifies a 63 A slow-blow DC fuse and a minimum cable size of 16 mm².
How efficient is the AC Master 24/1000?
It has a high peak efficiency of 94 per cent, and an automatic power saving system reduces no-load consumption to below 0.05 A in energy saving mode to extend battery runtime.
Can the inverter be switched off remotely?
Yes. An optional AC Master Remote Control allows the inverter and all connected equipment to be switched off instantly, and the unit is also MasterBus compatible using a MasterBus AC Master Interface.
Is it protected against wiring mistakes?
Yes. As well as over-temperature, overload, short circuit and high/low voltage protection, the 24 V model includes reverse polarity protection via its fuse.
