Description
The Raymarine gS165 is a 15.4-inch Glass Bridge multifunction display, the flagship of Raymarine's LightHouse II range. Its edge-to-edge optically styled glass front, fast multi-touch interface and high-bandwidth gigabit networking make it the centrepiece of a fully integrated navigation, radar, sonar and entertainment system.
The gS165 brings together chartplotting, radar, sonar, thermal and video imaging, autopilot control and engine data on a single 16:9 1280 x 800 pixels display. It runs LightHouse II, with a responsive home screen, customisable pages and split-screen views, and supports C-MAP and Navionics cartography. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth allow remote viewing through the Raymarine app and wireless media control.
Designed as a true glass-bridge helm display, the gS165 has no built-in sonar; instead it connects to Raymarine's range of external DownVision, SideVision and CHIRP sonar modules over the high-speed SeaTalkhs network, so you can scale the fishfinding capability to your boat. It also networks seamlessly with Raymarine radar, Evolution autopilots, AIS, instruments and Fusion entertainment systems.
This dual-display bundle supplies two gS165 displays, ideal for building a twin-helm or flybridge installation where the Data Master and a networked repeater share charts, radar and sonar over SeaTalkhs.
This variant is optimised for a 6 o'clock viewing position (inverted mounting), giving the best contrast and colour when the display is viewed from below its centre line, such as when fitted into a console or helm below eye level.
