Raymarine ST290 Data Processing Unit
Description
The Raymarine ST290 Data Processing Unit is the central hub of the ST290 high-performance instrument system. It collects information from the system's wind, speed, depth and heading sensors, performs the calculations behind apparent and true wind, VMG and other derived data, and distributes everything to the ST290 displays.
Displays, keypads and sensors connect to the processing unit over the ST290 SeaTalk2 network, giving a clean, expandable backbone for a complete sailing instrument system. The unit runs from a 12 V dc supply and forms the foundation that the ST290 analogue and digital displays build on.
This listing is for the ST290 Data Processing Unit. It is used with ST290 displays, keypads and transducers to make up a working ST290 system.
