Description
The Simrad RI-12 is the radar interface module that sits between the Halo open array pedestal and the rest of the system. It accepts a 12 or 24 V DC input and generates the 36 V DC nominal supply the pedestal requires, while bridging the radar to the Ethernet network for data and control. The RI-12 also brings NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 navigation data, including heading, into the radar. It is a required component of the Halo open array radar system and weighs 1.6 kg.
