The Simrad NSO evo3 19-inch glass-helm display is a low-profile black-box MFD for building a custom navigation system. Its ultra-bright Full HD SolarMAX IPS touchscreen stays clear from wide angles and through polarised sunglasses, with up to six split-screen panels. Built-in Wi-Fi, three Ethernet ports and NMEA 2000 connect radar, sonar, autopilot and mobile devices across the vessel.

What screen does the NSO evo3 19-inch have?

It has a 19-inch SolarMAX IPS Full HD (1920 x 1080) multi-touch display with 1000 nits brightness and wide 80-degree viewing angles, readable in direct sunlight and through polarised sunglasses.

Does this display have a built-in GPS or sonar?

No. The NSO evo3 needs an external GPS for position, and an external echosounder module or a networked MFD with built-in sonar to display echosounder images.

Does it have built-in Wi-Fi and what networking is provided?

Yes, internal 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi is built in. Wired connectivity includes three Ethernet (RJ45) ports, one NMEA 2000 Micro-C port and four NMEA 0183 ports, plus HDMI in/out, two composite video inputs and three USB-A ports.

Is this the display only, and what is in the box?

Yes, this is the display-only version. It ships with a suncover, black and silver bezels, power and NMEA cabling, an Ethernet adapter, an NMEA 2000 starter kit, panel mounting kit and documentation. A GPS antenna and remote are not included.

What is the waterproof rating and warranty?

The front is rated IPX6 when panel mounted. The display is supplied with a 2-year warranty.
