Description

The Victron 12V/14Ah AGM Deep Cycle battery is a sealed valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery using absorbent glass mat technology, in which the electrolyte is immobilised in a glass-fibre mat between the plates. The result is a maintenance-free battery that can be installed in most orientations without spillage.

Its low internal resistance gives dependable performance under both high-current bursts and sustained deep-cycle use. The 14Ah rating at the 20 hour rate makes it well suited to small instrument panels, lighting circuits, and standby supplies on board.

High-purity materials and lead-calcium grids hold self-discharge below 2% per month at 20°C, allowing long storage between charges when kept cool. Limiting repeated deep discharges helps the battery reach its full service life.
