Description
The Victron Energy 12V 220Ah AGM Deep Cycle is a sealed, maintenance-free VRLA battery using flat plate Absorbent Glass Mat construction. The electrolyte is absorbed into a glass-fibre mat between the plates, making the battery spill-proof and suitable for mounting in any orientation. Low internal resistance delivers strong high-current performance for demanding marine loads such as inverters, bow thrusters and electric winches.
The 220Ah rating is quoted at the 20 hour rate, with 200Ah available at the faster 10 hour rate. Lead-calcium grids and high-purity active materials keep self-discharge below 2% per month, so the battery tolerates long periods between charges. Service life is maximised by limiting discharge depth and recharging promptly with a suitable three or four step charger.
With flat copper terminals, 650A cold cranking and 250 minutes reserve capacity, this is a high-capacity house bank battery for liveaboard yachts and larger motor vessels.
