Description

The Victron 12V/22Ah AGM Deep Cycle battery is a sealed valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery built with absorbent glass mat technology. The electrolyte is absorbed into a glass-fibre mat between the plates, making the battery maintenance free and tolerant of varied mounting positions.

AGM construction offers very low internal resistance, so the battery copes well with high-current demands as well as regular cycling. At 22Ah it is a useful size for auxiliary electronics, small house loads, and backup duties on smaller craft.

Lead-calcium grids and high-purity materials keep self-discharge below 2% per month at 20°C, supporting long periods of storage between charges in cool conditions. Avoiding deep, prolonged discharges extends the working life of the battery.
