Description
The Actisense A2K-BULK-100M is a 100 metre reel of genuine Actisense NMEA 2000 Lite bulk cable, used to create or extend a network backbone to whatever length an installation needs. It is supplied as bare cable with no connectors, so it is ideal for use with the Actisense QNB-1 Quick Network Block or with Field Fit Connectors, letting you cut and terminate each run to the exact length required.
The cable carries five wires in a single waterproof jacket: a power pair, a data (signal) pair and a drain wire. The drain connects to the cable shield, protecting the signal, power and ground wires from radio frequency interference and helping to reduce emissions from the cable. Lite cable can build a backbone up to 100 metres long; where a longer run is required the centre of the bus can be extended with NMEA 2000 mini cable to keep the outer Lite sections within the 100 metre maximum.
