Description
The Actisense A2K-FFC-RF is a field-fit connector in the right-angle, female configuration, used to terminate bulk Actisense Lite cable on an NMEA 2000 network. The right-angle body lets the cable leave the connector at 90 degrees, which is useful for tidy routing and for fitting behind panels or around tight bends. Because the connector is assembled on site, cable can be cut to any length and the network fully customised, and an internal gland tightens around the cable as the connector is screwed together to keep the joint watertight.
The connector uses gold-plated brass contacts and a PA and glass-filled body with a stainless steel screw and TPU insert, and accepts 6 to 8 mm cable through a PG9 gland. It is rated to IP67 in the locked condition, meets IEC 61076-2-101, and is NMEA 2000 approved and RoHS compliant. It carries the standard 5 year Actisense guarantee.
