Description
The Actisense A2K-TDC-0M5 is a 0.5 metre NMEA 2000 Micro cable assembly, fitted with a male connector at one end and a female connector at the other so it plugs straight into a standard NMEA 2000 network. It can be used as a drop cable to connect an instrument to the backbone, or to extend the backbone itself where a short increase in length is needed.
Only genuine Actisense UL certified cable is used, so the assembly carries the same quality reassurance as the rest of the range. The cable carries five wires in a single waterproof jacket: a power pair, a data (signal) pair and a drain wire. The drain connects to the cable shield, protecting the signal, power and ground wires from radio frequency interference and helping to reduce emissions from the cable. The moulded M12 connectors give a secure, IP67 rated connection once mated.
