Description
The Oceanic Systems 3423 AC Current Transformer is used with the 3420 AC Monitor to measure an additional phase. It is a clamp-around transformer, so the single phase conductor simply passes through the current transformer and is held with a cable tie, without breaking the cable. This lets a 3420 cover two-phase, three-phase or split-phase systems by adding a 3423 for each extra phase.
Connections from the current transformer to the monitor are made through the six by two-way WAGO cage clamp terminal block, giving a secure and vibration-proof connection.
