Description
The Raymarine ST2000 Plus is a complete, self-contained tiller autopilot for larger tiller-steered sailing yachts up to 4,500 kg (10,000 lb) displacement. The drive, fluxgate compass and control head are built into one cockpit-mounted unit that clips onto your tiller and steers an accurate course, leaving you free to handle sails, navigate or relax.
A re-circulating ball drive provides up to 77 kg (170 lb) of thrust with a brisk lock-to-lock helm time of around 4.5 seconds, giving strong, responsive steering for bigger boats and livelier conditions. Automatic deadband and seastate control keep the boat tracking smoothly, while the backlit LCD and six-button keypad offer clear control with AutoTack and WindTrim steering to the apparent wind.
Built in SeaTalk and NMEA navigator interfaces let the ST2000 Plus steer to waypoints from a compatible chartplotter or GPS and link to other SeaTalk instruments. It runs from a 10 to 15 V dc supply with low standby power draw.
