Description
The NAC-D is a digital steering autopilot computer for boats fitted with an electronic vessel control system such as SeaStar Optimus, Volvo Penta IPS/EVC or Yamaha Helm Master. It connects by two NMEA 2000 (Micro-C) cables with no separate hydraulic pump, rudder feedback sensor or dockside calibration required.
NAC-D uses Continuum steering to switch automatically between low-speed and high-speed profiles for precise course keeping, and supports the SteadySteer instant manual-override feature. It can steer to a heading or waypoint and run turn patterns, paired with a controller such as the AP44 or AP48.
