Description
Every NMEA 2000 backbone has to be terminated at both ends, and this set supplies the pair. It contains one male and one female 120 ohm terminator, which screw onto the free ends of the first and last T-connectors in the trunk. Their job is to absorb the signal at each end of the run and stop it reflecting back down the cable; a network left unterminated, or terminated at only one end, will behave erratically or fail to communicate at all.
