Description
The Navico NMEA 2000 Remote Button is a dedicated man-overboard control that can be mounted wherever it is most useful on the vessel. A single press instantly creates a man-overboard waypoint and triggers a MOB alert across every compatible display on the NMEA 2000 network, then provides navigation data to guide the crew back to the position.
It uses the NMEA 2000 MOB Notification standard (PGN 127233) and is plug-and-play across a wide range of Simrad, B&G and Lowrance chartplotters and instruments, many of which feature a dedicated MOB page. The button conforms with World Sailing offshore safety requirements, and when used with a B&G H5000 sailing processor the system calculates a dead-reckoned MOB position.
