Description

The Airmar B175H-W is a 1kW high wide-beam CHIRP thru-hull transducer in a low-profile bronze housing for boats running a Navico display such as Lowrance, Simrad or B&G. The wide fixed beam delivers around twice the coverage of a narrow-beam high transducer, painting broad fish arches and detailed bottom returns in shallow to mid water.

Built on Airmar Tilted Element technology, the element sits almost flush to the hull yet aims the beam straight down for accurate readings without a fairing. This 20-degree version is matched to hulls with a deadrise of 16 to 24 degrees, and an integrated depth and fast-response water-temperature sensor adds useful data to your fishfinder.

What makes the B175H-W different from a standard high transducer?
Its wide fixed beam covers roughly twice the area of a narrow-beam high transducer, giving broader fish arches and bottom coverage.
Which hull deadrise does the 20-degree version suit?
It is matched to hulls with a deadrise of 16 to 24 degrees so the beam points straight down.
What connector and displays does it use?
A 9-pin Navico XSonic connector for Lowrance, Simrad and B&G CHIRP sounders.
Is a fairing block needed?
No, the Tilted Element housing mounts nearly flush and aims the beam down without a separate fairing.
Does it include a temperature sensor?
Yes, it has a built-in depth and fast-response water-temperature sensor.
