Description

The Skylla-i remote on-off cable plugs into the Skylla-i charger's remote on/off port and switches the charger using a simple signal level. With the input signal high the charger runs, and when the signal goes low or is left free-floating the charger switches off. The most common use is connecting the Skylla-i to a VE.Bus BMS, which disables the charger once the batteries reach full charge. Because it responds to a basic high/low signal, the cable also works with a Li-Ion BMS relay or an open-collector optocoupler output. The maximum input voltage is 70 V, the charger switches on at approximately 6 V, and it switches off when the input falls below 1 V or is free-floating.
