Description
Designed for vessels of all sizes with smaller loads, the Maretron MPower CLMD12 is a compact 12-channel DC load controller module that replaces conventional breakers and switches with intelligent digital switching. Two of its twelve electronic circuit breakers handle up to 12 amps, six handle up to 10 amps and four handle up to 5 amps, giving a total capacity of 75 amps, and like circuits can be paralleled for larger loads.
Each breaker is dimmable via PWM and can be given a defined power-up state or locked against inadvertent actuation, while programmable trip levels let you protect smaller circuits using Maretron N2KAnalyzer software. Seven discrete inputs accept hard-wired switches or other data such as bilge alarms and hatch positions. The CLMD12 also reports the current through every breaker, so you can detect overcurrent faults and undercurrent conditions such as failed lamps.
Opto-isolated from the NMEA 2000 network and rated to IP67, the CLMD12 handles lights, pumps, motors and electronics, and is controlled from third-party MFDs, the Maretron MBB300C black box, TSM Series touchscreens, MPower keypads or N2KView V3 software. For manual override, an MPower CBMD12 bypass module can be installed alongside it.
