Description
The Maretron DCR100 Direct Current Relay Module brings remote switching to your NMEA 2000 network. It contains six DC relays, each capable of switching up to 10 amps, so you can turn loads on and off from any device onboard or remotely using Maretron N2KView software. It handles resistive DC loads such as lights and inductive DC loads such as pumps and motors, and can also switch AC circuits via external relays.
A key benefit of the DCR100 is that it reports the current flowing through each of its six channels. This lets you detect loads drawing too little current, such as a burnt-out bulb, or too much current, giving early warning of a developing fault. Each channel includes automatic overcurrent shutdown at around 12 amps and thermal shutdown for over-temperature protection.
Channels can be locked into an on or off state, configured with a defined power-up state, and the module can even act as an annunciator to drive a buzzer, horn or strobe in response to an alert. Loads are switched using a Maretron DSM Series display, N2KView or N2KView Mobile.
