Description
The SP-40 is a single (mono) earphone fitted with a 3.5 mm plug, for listening to received audio privately.
It plugs into the earphone jack on the HM-222 waterproof speaker-microphone, or into the AD-135 3.5 mm earphone jack adapter, which allows it to be used with radios that have no 3.5 mm socket of their own.
Icom also lists the SP-40 as an option for a range of handhelds and receivers including the ID-50E, ID-52E, IC-R15 and IP-M60.
