Description
This is a genuine FLIR Marlin-series service part, a thermal-interface pad shaped for the i.MX6 processor within the Marlin thermal camera core. It sits between the device and its heat path, filling the small air gap so heat is drawn away efficiently and the processor is held within its intended operating temperature.
Supplied as a replacement to be renewed whenever the assembly is opened for service, the pad should be positioned correctly by a qualified technician during reassembly. Fitting the genuine pad preserves the original thermal management inside the camera.
