Description
The Garmin GC 200 Marine IP Camera streams high-quality video over Garmin BlueNet networking technology and works with both Garmin BlueNet and Garmin Marine Network chartplotters. As a network camera it integrates cleanly into a Garmin system using the included BlueNet cable, with a Garmin Marine Network adapter cable supplied for connection to existing Marine Network chartplotters and port expanders. A wide 99.2 degree horizontal field of view takes in a large area, and powerful infrared illumination extends visibility in the dark out to 30 m (98.4 ft). Despite this, power draw is modest at a maximum of 5 W with infrared active. The camera surface-mounts on a removable base with a locking collar, can be installed upside-down or sideways with a reversible image, and carries an IPX7 water rating for exposed positions. Power should be supplied at 9 to 18 Vdc through the required 1 A fuse, or via the optional Garmin Power Module on 24 Vdc systems.

How does the GC 200 connect to a chartplotter?
It is an IP camera that uses Garmin BlueNet networking technology and is compatible with both Garmin BlueNet and Garmin Marine Network chartplotters. It connects with the included Garmin BlueNet cable, and a Garmin Marine Network adapter cable is supplied for existing Marine Network systems.
