Description
The Garmin Surround View Camera System takes the guesswork out of docking and close-quarters manoeuvring by stitching the feeds from six 1080p cameras into a single live 360-degree birds-eye view of your boat. Cameras at the bow and stern and on the port and starboard sides combine to show the vessel and the water around it on a compatible Garmin display, so you can see pilings, pontoons and other hazards that would otherwise sit in a blind spot. Intelligent on-screen aids including a Visual Bumper and Distance Markers help you gauge how much room you have as you come alongside. The system is through-hull mounted and factory-installed by the boat builder on select vessels, and works with compatible Garmin GPSMAP chartplotters as well as the Volvo Penta Glass Cockpit System.
