Description

The Garmin GHC 50 is a premium stand-alone autopilot instrument that puts full control of a Garmin Reactor autopilot at your fingertips. Its 5 in. WVGA colour touchscreen is exceptionally bright at 1200 cd/m2 and finished with an anti-glare, anti-fingerprint glass lens, so heading, rudder angle and autopilot status stay clear in direct sunlight and at night. The instrument is powered by and communicates over the NMEA 2000 network, removing the need for a separate power connection, and it can also link to the Garmin Marine Network so software updates can be applied through a connected chartplotter. Day and night colour modes keep the display comfortable in any light, and the unit can be paired with the Reactor wireless remote for control away from the helm. The fully-gasketed polycarbonate housing is rated to IPX7 and flush mounts neatly into the dashboard.
