Description
The Simrad AC80S is a professional autopilot drive computer for on/off or proportional control of a rudder or thruster, driving galvanically isolated solenoid valves or high-level current loads. It supports frequency, voltage or current angle rudder feedback, digital drive handshake and an external mode input.
Part of the Simrad AP60 and AP70/AP80 autopilot family, the AC80S includes a built-in CAN-bus (SimNet) supply and four channels of IEC 61162-1 (NMEA 0183) receive and transmit for integration with compatible navigation and steering equipment.
