Description
This starter kit gives you all the cables and connectors required to create a basic NMEA 2000 network on a smaller vessel, ideal for connecting an AIS transponder, GPS and instrument display behind the helm. At its heart is a smart 4-way T-piece backbone formed from a compact extension block, with ports at each end that accept the supplied terminators for an exceptionally neat installation.
The kit uses industry-standard Micro-C connectors so it works with any NMEA 2000 compliant equipment, and its metal connectors and reduced number of T-piece joints improve long-term reliability. It supports up to three devices out of the box and remains fully expandable, letting you add further drop cables and tees as your system grows.
