Description

The Garmin B175H is a bronze thru-hull transducer that brings 1 kW high-frequency CHIRP performance to a compatible Garmin sonar system. The flush-mounted housing protrudes less than a quarter of an inch outside the hull and can sit on trailer rollers or bunks without damage, while the tilted element inside aims the sound beam vertically and removes the need for a fairing block. Built-in depth and water-temperature sensing comes as standard.

This no-tilt (0°) model is matched to hull deadrise angles of 0-7° and gives sharp, high-resolution returns and excellent bottom detail. An excellent choice for fibreglass and wood hulls, it connects to CHIRP-capable Garmin chartplotters, combos and sonar modules. The transducer is supplied with installation instructions, which should be followed carefully to avoid damaging your boat.

What sonar frequency does the Garmin B175H use?
The B175H operates at 130-210 kHz (high chirp) with a transmit power of 1 kW (RMS).
How deep can the Garmin B175H read?
The B175H has a maximum depth of 1200 ft (366 m) under good conditions; actual depth depends on water conditions, bottom type and the sonar module used.
Which hull deadrise does this 0 degree-tilt B175H suit?
This version has a 0 degree tilted element matched to hull deadrise angles of 0-7°, so the beam fires vertically without a fairing block.
What connector does the Garmin B175H have?
The B175H uses an 8-pin Garmin connector on a 39 ft (11.9 m) cable. Adapter cables are available to suit other Garmin sounder connector types.
Does the Garmin B175H need a CHIRP sonar?
Yes. The transducer is designed for CHIRP-capable Garmin systems such as the GSD 26 professional module and GPSMAP xs/xsv combos; an adapter cable may be required for some models.
Does the Garmin B175H measure water temperature?
Yes, the B175H has a built-in water-temperature sensor in addition to depth.
