Description
This bail mount bracket provides a surface mount for the Garmin GPSMAP 5008 multifunction display. The base fixes to a flat panel at the helm or dash and the unit is cradled between the bail arms, which let you tilt the display to suit your seating position.
A bail mount is a straightforward over-surface installation that does not require cutting an aperture in the dash, and the unit can be lifted out when the boat is left unattended. Route the device cabling behind the mount and secure the base to a solid surface.
