Description
This replacement electronic control unit (ECU) renews the control electronics of a Garmin GHP SmartPump autopilot drive. It powers the course computer unit and drives the SmartPump motor from the autopilot heading data, restoring full steering performance to the system.
The ECU is fully gasketed and sealed against water ingress and is intended as a service part for boats already fitted with a GHP SmartPump. It should be fitted by a qualified marine engineer following the SmartPump instructions.
