Description

The Garmin Force trolling motor brings serious power and tight integration to the front of your boat. A brushless motor produces up to 100 lb (445 N) of peak thrust on a 36 V system while running quietly and efficiently, helping you cover water without spooking fish. The 50 in. fibreglass shaft is sized for boats with a standard bow height, and the aluminium mount keeps everything rigid under load.

Built-in GPS autopilot lets you set an anchor lock to hold position automatically, lock a heading, or follow routes and tracks created on a paired Garmin chartplotter. Both the foot pedal and the handheld remote are completely wireless, so there are no control cables cluttering the deck. The motor accepts a 24 V or 36 V battery supply, drawing up to 60 A continuous, and the propeller drive motor carries an IPX8 submersion rating for dependable freshwater service.

How much thrust does the Force 50" trolling motor produce?
The Force produces up to 100 lb (445 N) of peak thrust when run on a 36 Vdc battery system, and around 80 lb (355 N) on a 24 Vdc system.
What battery voltage does the Force trolling motor need?
It is a 24 V or 36 V capable motor with an operating range of 20 to 45 Vdc. A 36 V supply is required to reach full thrust. It draws up to 60 A continuous and needs a suitable circuit breaker (not included).
How is the Force trolling motor controlled?
You can steer and control speed with the wireless foot pedal or the handheld remote, both cable-free, and you can also operate it from a compatible Garmin chartplotter or the ActiveCaptain app.
Does the Force have an anchor lock or spot-lock feature?
Yes. The built-in GPS autopilot can hold your position with anchor lock, hold a set heading, and follow routes and tracks created on a paired Garmin chartplotter.
Is the 50" shaft the right length for my boat?
The 50 in. shaft suits boats with a standard bow height. Anglers with a taller bow or who fish rougher water often choose the longer 57 in. version to keep the propeller submerged.
How much does the Force 50" weigh?
The motor, mount and cables together weigh 30 kg (66 lb).
