Description
The Garmin Foretrex 401 is a rugged wrist-mounted GPS navigator built for activities where you need both hands free, from hiking and climbing to tactical and military use. A high-sensitivity receiver with HotFix holds a strong satellite lock, while the black-and-white display stays clear in bright sunlight and the low-profile design straps neatly to your wrist or gear.
It records tracks and waypoints, retraces your route with TracBack, and includes an electronic compass and barometric altimeter for heading and elevation. Powered by two AAA batteries for up to 17 hours of use and rated IPX7 against rain and splashes, it is a dependable navigator for the field.
