Description

The Garmin GC 12 Marine Camera lets you monitor key areas of your boat such as the engine room, cockpit or a blind spot astern, with the feed shown directly on a compatible Garmin GPSMAP chartplotter. It is a wired camera that outputs a standard PAL composite video signal and connects to a chartplotter fitted with a built-in CVBS video encoder. A 69 degree horizontal field of view covers a useful area, while built-in infrared illumination provides visibility in low light out to around 10 m (33 ft). The compact dome housing can be installed upright, upside-down or on its side, and the image can be reversed so it reads correctly when used as a rear-view camera. An IPX7 water rating and a sealed dome construction make it suitable for exposed positions on deck, and supplied screws, a set-screw wrench and a mounting template simplify installation.
