Description

The Garmin GHP Reactor Steer By Wire Course Computer Unit (CCU) is the central sensor and steering interface of a steer-by-wire GHP Reactor autopilot. It contains a solid-state attitude and rate-of-turn sensor for the primary heading reference and commands the boat compatible electronic steering system directly, so no hydraulic pump or mechanical drive is required.

Sealed to IPX7, the CCU must be mounted away from sources of magnetic interference and tested with a handheld compass during installation. It serves as a core component of steer-by-wire GHP Reactor systems and as a service or replacement part.
