Description
The Garmin GHP20 SmartPump Autopilot System with GHC 20 is a complete GPS-stabilised autopilot for boats with hydraulic steering. It combines a course computer with an internal heading sensor, the GHC 20 colour instrument and a Garmin SmartPump, an integrated brushless electro-hydraulic pump with its own control unit and Shadow Drive valve.
The SmartPump adjusts its flow to suit the boat and stands by automatically when the helm is turned by hand, while the GHC 20 gives full push-button command at the helm. Setup is guided by the on-screen Dockside and Sea Trial wizards, and installation should be carried out by a qualified marine engineer.
