Description
The Garmin GHS 20i is a wireless remote handset that lets you operate a Garmin VHF 200i or 300i radio from anywhere on board. This version is supplied with a charging cradle and pairs with an existing GWH 20 wireless receiver, making it ideal for adding an extra handset, fitting a second station or replacing a handset. Up to three handsets can share one receiver, with walkie-talkie style intercom between handsets for crew communication, and the wireless range reaches up to 100 m depending on installation.
The handset runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that delivers up to 18 hours of use and recharges in around four hours in the supplied cradle. A belt clip is included for hands-free carrying, and the handset is IPX7 water-rated for the marine environment. A GWH 20 receiver is required and the host radio may need a software update.
