Description
The Garmin GPS 158i is a dedicated fixed-mount marine GPS navigator that provides clear, dependable position, speed and course information on a sunlight-readable display. It supports thousands of waypoints and up to 50 routes, with dedicated navigation, compass, highway and route views to keep you on track, plus a man-overboard key for emergencies.
This model uses an internal GPS antenna, so no separate antenna is required where the helm has a reasonable view of the sky. It mounts on the included swivel bracket for easy installation and viewing, outputs standard NMEA 0183 data to share position with other instruments, and the fully gasketed, IPX7 water-rated housing is built for the marine environment.
