The GPSMAP 1222xsv Touch pairs a 12.1 inch multi-touch chartplotter with a powerful built-in fishfinder, making it a strong choice for the coastal angler who wants a big, bright combo. The WXGA touchscreen carries a preloaded worldwide basemap, and an internal 10 Hz GPS keeps position and heading updating ten times a second.
Its integrated sonar delivers 1 kW CHIRP traditional plus Garmin ClearVu and SideVu scanning sonar, and it is compatible with Panoptix all-seeing sonar when the matching transducer is added. It is fully network capable over the Garmin Marine Network, NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183 and J1939, with built-in Wi-Fi for ActiveCaptain, so it can run radar, autopilots, sonar modules and sensors from one helm.
